FĂȘte du Film
A day to celebrate film for the sake of film. Adapted from the French concept of FĂȘte de la musique, “FĂȘte du Film” is a one day mini film festival where movies are simultaneously screened in different venues inside the Ateneo campus. Each screening venue has its own unique theme; European Cinema, Asian Cinema, American Cinema, etc.
Through this event, the Loyola Film Circle aims to increase the competency of the Ateneans in film appreciation, to celebrate the evolution of cinema and to recognize the value of the silver screen as an art form and a medium of self-expression.
Turn Rights
Turn Rights is a series of talks, performances, and screenings that brings together several organizations in and out of the Ateneo community to participate in dialogues about social issues.
In line with the Loyola Film Circle’s mission-vision, Turn Rights aspires to be a venue to further explore film as a tool in making a difference in national concerns. This event also aims to strengthen LFC’s tie-ups with organizations outside the Ateneo with the same advocacy.
